I'm also interested. The Ravelco equipment is off-the-charts overpriced. This looks like a great alternative.

One thought, a quick glance at the unit makes me think the fob needs to be in close proximity at all times to activate the relay, if it were moved too far away, it could cause the motor to shut off, so some method should be devised to make sure the fob can't move while driving. If the fob was on the ignition key chain and the receiver nearby that could solve the issue. Meanwhile, I just ordered one to play with, the possibilitys are endless, thanks..............

^^^What if you mounted the proximity sensor and receiver circuit box behind the plastic panel which sits below the Steering wheel - sensor positioned up against the panel. Then placed a piece of Velcro on the fob with the adjoining piece placed on the outside of the panel (even with the sensor). All you would have to do is unhook the fob from your keychain and press it onto the Velcro on the panel to keep it in place while running the vehicle. Would essentially work similar as the cap of a Revelco.

..or just use the RFID setup for starter disable.......hold FOB next to receiver when starting then it just dangles from key chain.....

Version -2 , To somewhat answer the proximity issue, the following will toggle the security relays. So you could use the RFID tag to enable and then use the RFID key to disable. This latching relay has three circuits so I added a LED to know what state it was in. The 3 Channels Momentary Switch Control SPDT 10Amp Power Relay Module can be found here.

The OONO F-1024 could also be hooked up to a switch, as its default power up state would be off.

I have one but it was designed for typical trailer tires and won’t clamp on my 275/70-18 van tires. I have not searched for larger ones but as you said it is a bit bulky and heavy to carry around.

A couple of heads up this. further looking finds a very similar unit that that outputs 12 Volts, instead of the 3.25V that the original link points to. Being that it is a 12 volt output, the relays you directly connect to are more common.

RFID Key Access Control

The unit below, also comes with a relay that can be configured to toggle. This would cover the case RFID key being active the whole time.

RFID Reader transponder access control 3 mode relay momentary and flip flop

In any case the 12 Volt output RFID controller would probably be easier to work with.
