Thats the standard factory Ford way on a 7.3 I thought.
6.0s moved both batteries the frame rail so there was room for the intercooler and pipes.
Carringb is correct about AAA contractors, they should do it and will get extra time for the job.
A lot of batteries these days are hard to change, they have to do something to pay the techs to change them.
Its one of your AAA benefits.
He probably didnt have the tools or know how to do it, or just plain didnt want to.
