Will a ScanGuage II work on a 2006 E350 6.0 L Diesel?

After reading other posts, I was about to order a ScanGuage II for my 2006 E350 6.0 L Diesel Sportsmobile from BulletProof Diesel. I called them to ask some technical questions and Andrew told me that he believes that there was a change of the signal pin in the 2006 OBD II Ford van connectors that prevents the ScanGuage II from operating properly (and same issue for using the Edge Insight CTS also). He said that the had a 2006 6.0 L Diesel Sportsmobile in their shop a few weeks ago and couldn't get the ScanGuage II to work, even with technical assistance from ScanGuage. Apparently this is only an issue with the 2006 Ford vans and not the Super Duty pickups. Has anybody out there successfully used a ScanGuage II on a 2006 E350 6.0 L Diesel? Is this just a programming issue? Is there an OBD II "plug adapter" workaround?

Well this certainly is timely ... My BulletProof unit is in the box waiting for me to install tomorrow afternoon (Due to street parking at the house, I need to store the van).

I just checked their webpage and as far as I can see there is no warning about not working on an '06 E350. Guess I'll find out tomorrow first hand if it works or not.

I bought a preprogrammed one for my 2007 6.0 and it works great. You still need to tell it what you want it to monitor but the directions make it easy. Would not own a 6.0 without this guage, it has really helped when codes came up out on the road and when the turbo veins started to stick. I use it mostly to watch my oil and coolant temperature differentials.

Sorry it took me a minute to get to you ... Yes, I got the pre-programned unit and it seems to be working fine (as the others have confirmed).

I used a BlendMount unit to place the ScanGuage above the rear view mirror. So far so good ...

I went with the stock set up right out of the box, so I don't have any additional probes. Keep in mind this means I'm not monitoring EGTs which would require additional work and equipment (and I'm not sure if this can be done with the SGII, might require an additional gauge of some type, I'm still learning what I have).

Is the model BlendMount you used a BSG-1000
