You can probably mount it about anywhere there is space. I have a link-10 (it's round) and it's next to the solar controller on the passenger wall of the van. I've seen them in a variety of places such as cabinets and under bench seats. It's nice to have it visible and in reach though.

I wondered about the wall, but thought that the link would be pretty deep?

Mine is about an inch and a half and fits OK. You could always mount it in a frame as well. SMB diid this with my solar controller but it was more do to the fact that the new controller was smaller. There is a picture of it here if you're interested

I placed mine under my sink next too my water pump switch and Webasco Diesel stove controller. It has a small depth and footprint, like the link 10.
OK, the manufacturer pictures made it look deep. I like the under sink idea, also then you can read it from the door looking in really easily. Will take a look there.
Any good places to buy the Link? West Marine and Defender both seemed to stock it.

"customerservice@jthelectronics.com" best price for my unit. Marine warehouse is a great place for Isotherm refridgerator. Do not get the norcold SMB supplies. Isotherm is quiter, reliable and more functional.
