2017 model has now become a 2018. Which, the 2108 should begin to be produced by the end of February. We will hear that we are slated for production for the van in Germany from February on. There is no way of knowing what models will be first in Germany's que, they are built in batches.
Once SMBw hears it's slated it will take about 2.5 months to hit Fresno.
Our February projected start date at SMBw is now off, obviously; May delivery window is probably looking more like the start date for the up-fitting.
We've got a two week fall break in mid September- perhaps that'll be the maiden voyage.
A classic operation in delayed-gratification.

Buying one of these is definitely a lesson in patience. For what it’s worth, we have absolutely no regrets on our end, well worth the wait!

I wish there was something of interest to report here, it's just a waiting game instead. Once we gotta a rig on the line we'll do our best to remember what the hell we're supposed to be sharing...
Really, it's more about what happens afterwards that is the meat of the meal - tweaks here and there then Trip Reports!
Back to the Den, looks like at least three more months of winter-waiting.

It’s on...

Looks like our trip this weekend through the 4th may be one of the e350 4x4’s last adventures with us...
We’ve got her buffed out and are finishing packing our kit this afternoon for a climbing trip into the western Sierras.
Funny, we’ll drive through Fresno Saturday morning and again on the 4th; both days SMBwest will be shuttered. So, no opportunity to check out the rig yet.

Our van hit the production line in early July. We’ll be picking it up on September 24; turns out to be perfect timing, that’s the first week of our two week fall break.
John with Agile is lining up done after build work for us; that work will include RIP, skid plates and Aluminess Bumpers.
Cheers to Fitz re insurance tips.

A month away from pick up....most all of the decisions should be made and you should just be sitting back practicing your patience....right? Glad to hear you are so close, standing by for updates!
