But where'e the nitrous oxide (NOS) switch?

Seriously though, both you and they did a nice job on the switch layout.

My ideal setup would be a programmable "soft key" touch-panel, where I could select "Lights", then have a graphical layout of all my aux lights come up. Then I could select what lights I want on, and I could see what lights were on and what lights were off. Anyone care to hack the software on my JVC stereo unit? The same panel could be use to control lockers, compressors, high idle switch, penthouse top....

Thats an awesome idea and doable somehow Im sure. Probable not the hacking in of the JVC but with a seperate screen of some sort.

Here is McBeast at home surrounded by his brothers and sisters.... He is not the runt of the litter.....

McBeast has displaced Ed the Electric truck off the pavement so that Ed is off the side of the driveway now.

Ed the Electric Truck is a 1997 Chevy S-10E. He is the one hiding behind McBeast (you can see the electric label on the door) In 1997 and 1998 GM made electric S-10s. 1997 was PbA and 1998 was NiMH. Thay have the same drivetrain as the infamous or famous EV-1. These trucks were leased and sold into fleets, and now 10 years later they are coming out of lease service and being sold. I don't remember the number built but it was something arouns 450.

Ours is not running as it needs new batteries. There is a buy in AZ that will update the 1997 to NiMH. He is the same guy that recently was able to help a college professor revive an EV-1. This can be found on You Tube. We hope to go through the upgrade process in the next 12 months.

We are proud to own one of the few S-10Es.

On Saturday McBeast was at a family birthday party for three family members that have May birthdays. He was a pretty big hit.

He is REALLY a big hit with 12 year old Ches, my stepson. Surprise huh?

(more electric.... you can see our guerilla solar system in front of McBeast on the left, and you can see the larger system on the right on the porch roof)

I am impressed at how manueverable McBeast is. To get him to the back yard there was some interesting manuevering under a pecan tree and between our shed and our well house..... and he jumped right through.
