Penthouse Top by SMB North

I didn't want to tag along on a post or hijack it...there has been a few really angry members here (deservedly so) that a have had tops done at West or South...Here are some pics of the SMB NORTH PH top...those that have read my posts know I am a FIRM supporter/believer in the SMB North...product, build, and service they provide... and are QUITE different from the other two (again, MY OPINION)...BUT, I wanted to 'show the difference' as best as I could with pics....if you have any more need or want different angles more pics etc....just message me...hope this helps current/future SMB folks!! Smooth top, goes to drip gutters and makes nice seal....I climb up on the ladder as KTG is lowering so I can 'adjust' if needed as it seats...most of the time it fits perfectly...yes electric too...

Sorry for the turned pics...can't seem to figure out how to make them view the right way...

I have found out that if they are larger than what this site is set up for, they will be sideways. There might be other reasons but thats what happened to me.

I think it's an age and luck thing. More than likely, if you're over 30, your pics will be sideways or upside down. Personally I think I've just been lucky. There is much about technology that just doesn't jive with me but the pics have always worked out ok. If possible, if you have them, let your kids post the pics. They'll probably come out perfect.

What type of van do you have?

The PH on my 1998 SMB-North Ford van is still going strong with no real issues :-)

I thought sportsmobile north was no longer doing penthouse tops on e series vans. I was told had to take mine to california to do it. Really wantto add the top but Cali is too far for me. Anyone know if north is still doing them?
