RB PH top extended to windshield from the factory??

Has anyone ever heard of SMB putting a PH top on an RB that extended to the windshield? I saw one on the hwy today. It was an E150 pre 2008 model. There looked to be a clip on the outside over the cab area to hold the front down. I have seen the guy on here that did the cool custom job of putting an EB top on an RB roof, but he had to do a big custom thing in the front to get it to mate with the roof. This looked like a factory fit PH. I was on the road so I didn't get a lot of pics.

Looks like that might be a Colorado Camper Van top. Here's a gallery of one of their low-pro tops on another van:

Maybe but they would have had to put the SMB sticker on the back of the PH in the standard location because this one had an SMB sticker on the PH top. It also only had 2 clips up front and no other external clips towards the back of the PH top. From all the pics and videos I have seen of the CCV low profile top they have clips towards the back of the PH top as well. This one definitely only had the clips up front.

Agree w/ carringb - Definitely looks like the CCV low profile top.

SMB tops do not go full width to the edge of the gutters like CCV, and the CCV low profile top is a couple inches shorter than the SMB top.

It is possible that the top was done at CCV and the van then went to SMB for interior up fitting. SMB might then throw their sticker on the van.

Is that one of the 'garageable' tops that SMB used to offer?

Here is an example of a CCV low profile top. Van belongs to forum member Chopperguy. IMO This top doesn't look the same as the OP's picture .lines are different .

Re: RB PH top extended to windshield from the factory??

I remember reading here on SMB forum, in a post discussing various tops/molds that SMB has used, that there was a full length one like this with the little extra clip in front. I don't remember the thread though.

Edited to add: Okay, found it. Scroll down to find info from Nancy/SMB Indiana on tops/history.
