Re: SMB West Factory Visits

Whoops, saw a green one there yesterday with plates. Yours? Usually I don't take pictures of vehicles that are plated. maybe I shot one picture. I'll have to check.

Re: SMB West Factory Visits

Will be at SMBw 0800 on 12 October to have my two Marine solar panels replaced with one Kyocera solar panel. Haven't decided if I'm overnighting somewhere near Fresno Sunday night, or if I'm getting up even earlier than usual and driving there that morning.

Let me know if someone needs me to grab pics of anything.

Re: SMB West Factory Visits

Will be (back) at SMBw on Friday 23 Oct to pick up my van after the fix at Freedom Ford, and then the change-out of the solar panels. I'll be there first thing, and leaving later that morning.

I'm leaving very early tomorrow morning, so any requests for pics must be received tonight. Sorry for the short notice.

Re: SMB West Factory Visits

Lance,

Yeah everyone knows your van! BTW congrats on getting a booth at SEMA!

Here are thumbnails of the pics I took. Let me know if you'd rather not have them posted and I'll remove them. I have (slightly) higher resolution versions available if you want those.

Re: SMB West Factory Visits

Thanks for taking the time to check out the project.
The shop guys are having a hoot with this build

Posting the pics is a great favor and I would love copies of any of them. My email is lance AT disabledexplorers DOT org
Thanks again!

So honestly now...tell me your thoughts on the layout and setup..
I won't be out there till Thurs of next week and I am going nuts wondering what it looks like in up close and personal with the wheelchair lift and the power seat base.

What about the National Luna fridge? Did that fit ok with the lift arms right next to it?

Can you tell I am going bonkers while being in Phx and the thing is being built in Fresno

Re: SMB West Factory Visits

Well I definitely didn't see the lift closed, so I don't have a good feel for that. Two guys were busy at work on it, so I just stayed out of the way. It does look like a nice, open layout.

I know this is late notice,,,,sorry,
I will be at SMB West this afternoon and tomorrow finishing up the WAVE - Wheelchair Accessible Van for Expeditions before we take it to SEMA on sunday.
If anyone wants pics of their build in progress just post or pm with how I would know it is yours...name, description or if you have already marked it with a drop of blood
