Top Choices

Looking to add a top to my Quigley, it is a Regular WB not a Extended. I use it mostly for hauling bikes and stuff around. I do use it for camping at the track 6 times a year and fishing 15-20 time a summer. I also use it as a daily driver. I was thinking about a Contempo top or Penthouse. Like how this van looks but mine will not have the windows: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &viewitem=
I like the Idea of the PH roof but also like the added room for standing all the time of the Contempo.

Be sure to check the interior height of the Contempo top. I would have preferred the aerodynamic styling of the Contempo but since I'm 5'10" tall, I would have had to duck a little bit. It might sound petty for an inch but if you're constantly ducking while spending time in the van, it can be a real pain in the neck -- literally.

I love being able to fully stand up in my Voyager top and even stretch a little, with shoes on...

Re: Top Choices

I had a Chevy (Pathfinder 4x4) with a Voyager style top. I like it but I think that the Comtempo will work for the few times a year I will be camping in it. I think the Voyager will be overkill for daily drining. How much of the roof does the Penthouse top remove? I like how the Contempo is almost full width.
