I've found that the Extreme Outback compressor puts will fill larger tires in a lot less time than other compressors, and even fill two or more tires simultaneously in less time than one tire with other compressors. It's also continuous duty so no waiting for the compressor to take a rest while you're still filling tires.

I bought a Smittybilt. Most cfm and best duty cycle at 40 minutes at 40psi. I have twin Viair in my bagged Chevy II, not impressed with it and twice the amp draw. The single Viair was slower but less draw. I love the Smittybilt

Thanks for the heads up - I just ordered it as well, can't really go wrong for $97 and can always return it at local NAPA store if it doesn't meet the specs for inflating the tires.

My NAPA compressor got here, and works great!

The gauge it comes with is a bit annoying, because it shows pressure in the line, not in the tire. On top of that, there’s no way to stop filling from the end of the hose. So you have to guess when it’ll be enough and run back and forth to the power switch to stop the compressor and check.

It’s fine for now, but I’ll probably end up putting a pressure shutoff switch and a regular quick disconnect on it.

I picked up the below tire inflator for my tire inflation home compressor, and it's made tire inflation much simpler. Clamp-on tire chuck, trigger inflation/deflation, built-in pressure gauge which provides tire inflation pressure when the trigger is released. No more back and forth between the compressor hose and the pressure gauge. Nothing special about this specific gauge, as there are many others out there like it.

That's a good one Herb. Great ratings! I got the one below on Amazon a couple years ago and it's been ok but has two problems, both due to the cheap and dirty construction we're all getting familiar with in Amazon tools. First, it eats batteries pretty quickly, cheap electronics. Second, the fixed clamp on the end of the flexible hose works it's way loose every couple of months. Still, it's digital and works well.

Figures, after typing all of that then searching my Amazon history for the link it is now unavailable. This is yet another problem with Amazon tools. They come and they go. The same one is likely available under 5 different weird names.

Yeah, most of the made in china stuff is sold under multiple names, probably all made in the same factory.
