Aluminess Deluxe box vs Galley Box

Thoughts on the two????

Galley box is about 6" shorter but the door opens down into a makeshift table sort of.

The Deluxe has more room for stuff.....

So, basically not totally sure how I'm going to be using it yet but the van is at AO now and I've got to decide between the two. Thoughts?!?!

Bigger is better, love my Deluxe box. You wil be amazed at what you can fit in it and on it. I say go for the larger box with the rails on top as long as it isn't a vision issue for you looking out the back window.

Dang that things looks like a refrigerator! Does it hold the keg?

But seriously I'm short and I cannot lie! So I love that low mount for the spare!

Went to vacuum van and pack for camping tonight and I'm getting tired of pulling the overhang to get in the back.... Can anyone suggest a bumper with a step up?

I use this one: Bump Step Hitch Step - Trailer Hitch Mounted Bumper Protector | WeatherTech.com but the step is basically as high as the hitch, so you really have to hike up to get your foot on it. Better than nothing, but...

If I had to do it over again, and I will, I'd get something more like this one:

Hitch Stair with 2 Steps for 2" Trailer Hitches Brophy RV Stairs and Steps RHS2

But this is pretty cool, too, just for the drop:

I also prefer a larger bumper box. I keep all my messy stuff in there. I finally just went custom.

I think my mind is fixed on the Deluxe now. I can always add a little fold down "table" to the door no problem, hadn't though of that before.
