I bought black delrin (acetal) rod stock from Mcmaster Carr and fabricated washers (same as aluminess washers) on my lathe. You can make the lower washers thicker/thinner to raise/lower the swingarms and then machine the upper washer for whatever space is above the hinge to remove the vertical slop....where the upper delrin washer is in each hinge.

i.e. my washers are not all the same thickness..they are tuned to get the height of each swingarm correct to rest on the angled delrin rubbing blocks and to remove the vertical slop in each arm.

Thanks, I needed to incorporate a method to raising a 35" tire onto the carrier. I lifted the tire and rim but I could not balance it and put on the bolt to secure it so I made the ladder a swing down carrier!

Other than having to trim some aluminum from the front bumper due to my particular 4WD conversion, my front bumper has been great. Of course the front bumper isn't holding massive weight/swingarms so less to crack/fail.

We love ours... It's been through a lot and still looks and performs flawlessly.
