I would be interested.
In a rear door model anyway.
I have a side slider and imagine you won’t be doing one for sliding doors?

I'd be interested as well. I have a 2013 E350 that is currently screenless.

We've used the velcro one from Sportsmobile for the barn doors, and the skeeter beaters for the fronts, for the past several years... They both work great! Highly recommend them.

The magnet idea seems fun and tech-y, but I agree the wind and wear might compromise them and their usefulness.

I need rear pop out windows next, for better air flow.

The important features we are incorporating are:
1. The screens can remain attached to the van so the doors can be opened and closed, they do not have to be taken down.
2. Easy to get in and out of the van without struggling w zippers.

We are looking at No See Um mesh as well as the normal 14 x 18 mesh.

One thing that has become very clear is how much effort goes into designing and making these screens and having them hang and work right!!

Not sure about pricing yet but definitely less than what was being charged for a set from SMB in the past.
Ray,
Would be interested in one for my 1999 E350 barn doors (have skeeters for rear & front windows, work great!). If you are looking for a benchmark Rolef in Canada https://www.rolef.ca/en/moustiquaire-vr.php
make what appears to be a very high quality product admittedly for $800 (US) 🧐

I have bought a Highly rated magnetic bug Screen off amazon ~$40 but have not started the necessary alterations for it to fit the doors plus allow them to be rolled up so they remain in place rather than require installation at camp.

Love the idea.

On my old van I had the SMB screens. And they were zipper so sort of a pain in the ass. And you could not close doors.

I think you should use magnets instead of zipper. The magnet center strip is super easy and works great.

The trouble starts with trying to close the doors.. magnets need to be in door frame.. but it would still be better than SMB velcro in doorframe that takes a beating and starts to peel off.
