Camp Knife

new camp knife

"bush" knife variety

http://www.blindhorseknives.com

great guys
great knife

came with sheath
hated "danglers" (type sheath that has belt loop and "dangles")
untill i got this and tested the past two days
(i added the lanyard)
set up is perfect for me

pic also shows a full stick of "grocery store" wood
i cut it in half with the pocket chain saw and use in the Volcano stove
3 half pieces makes for nice grilling

pics of Mrs. Wilson cutting kindling
(wish she would operate the pocket chain saw...)

best
BW

Re: Camp Knife

it appears that the knife makers make limited runs

i pre ordered mine and it took about a month

well worth the wait for a semi custom knife IMHO

Re: Camp Knife

I like 'em cheap, so I don't care about them- because if I have a nice knife I'll never use it for anything. (not to mention I've been known to set them on the spare tire and drive away...)

Re: Camp Knife

If I'm backpacking or canoe camping I look for 'good' tools. With all the room I have in Sportsmobile type of rig, anything goes. Large axe, bow saw, lighter fluid I am set.
