I pulled the link Do what Gregg said.
Yesterday it worked...my guess is Coleman wants you to shop around their site. Maybe like stores moving their items from one isle to the other???

Re: Coleman grill stove

A buddy has the Coleman model and we have a knockoff that is very similar. The grill on the coleman unit seems much better and if I remember correctly he has a griddle that fits over his which absolutely rules for making pancakes.

The grill makes it super easy to do brats/sausages or foil wrapped veggie packs quickly with minimal setup and cleanup. We dig this setup.

Re: Coleman grill stove

You are correct regarding the optional Grill for this Stove ,packs nicely and easy to clean . I frequently use the Grill for the outside toasting of various Chiles for the making of different Salses and Sauces .

Re: Coleman grill stove

Thanks for reposting the correct link! I didn't get mine yet, but should be here soon. I'm hoping to use it next weekend so i'll let you guys know how it goes. And yes, the griddle does look like a nice addition. I'll be finding one of those!

Coleman grill stove

We started with a non Coleman gas BBQ my wife loathes. Cleaning nightmare. Now have the Coleman combo, and life is back to being good.

Re: Coleman grill stove

A couple of useful tips for keeping your clean up easier is to line the bottom of the Grill side with Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil and carefully fold a Paper Towel and place it in the Grease collection tray.
The Paper Towel is removed after each use and used as a Fire Tender material .

Re: Coleman grill stove

For those of you in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho Bi-Mart (http://www.bimart.com) has a Century (http://www.centurycamping.com/stoves/camping/) on sale for $49.49. The unit is very similar to the Coleman combination unit. I bought one today and tried it out on tonights dinner. It worked great.

The two 10k burners cooked faster than I expected. As will all gas stoves it is hard to control at the low end. Propane burns so clean that it was very hard to see the flame in the sunlight that it was hard to tell how close to the burner the flame was. Never the less the food was done and tasted great.

Am interested to see how it will do at altitude instead of close to sea level. But that is next weekend.
