Coleman grill stove

Great, just what we need, you're thinking, another grill/stove thread??? Well, i actually have searched and turned up nothing.

I'm curious if anyone is using one of these?

I'm trying to avoid carrying both with me, and this seems to do both, but messy, uneven grills can be a disaster. I tried a 10k BTU Road trip deluxe party grill (i actually won it, but would've never bought the massive thing), and hated it. Way too big and rattles horribly.

Re: Coleman grill stove

I used one of those for years and loved it. It would still be my 2nd stove except that I can't eat anything grilled for unrelated reasons. Actually if you want to pay shipping I'll drop it in the mail to you, just needs a good cleaning.

Re: Coleman grill stove

I thought you said a grill and a stove were two different things?

Here, they are one!

Re: Coleman grill stove

That's the grill/stove combo I use. I've only had it for a short while but so far I like it. Fairly compact and it stores nicely. Cooks a little hotter down the middle third but you can use that to your advantage. Set up and clean-up is easy.

You can find it for less than the $95 in the add on your link. I believe it was around $80 at Gart Sports and I got it half price at a store that was going out of business.

Re: Coleman grill stove

yeah, not sure what's up with that. It's supposed to be a Coleman Instant Start Grill Stove. I couldn't get the link to work right either, AFTER i posted it, but Jage found it somehow so i thought it was fixed.

hmmmm

Re: Coleman grill stove

I've been thinking about the same one. How bad is cleanup on the grill? I don't want the van perpetually smelling like a BBQ grease trap.

Re: Coleman grill stove

Cleanup on this model is very straight forward and easy ,
I would caution the purchase of the Bag that Coleman offers as it doesn't fit this model .
Greggd

PS the unit comes with a removable drip pan that does an admirable job .
