Those caps can be found most any place selling ladder racks etc. A quick Google search for "conduit carrier" produced this one: http://www.masterack.com/products.as...ref=1581998875

I use a product I designed to hold a SUP paddle onto a board, but have figured out many more uses. Check out www.paddleport.com to see it in action. It can be mounted almost anywhere with 3M VHB tape, screws, or bolts.

Yeah, I'm thinking like Bridges I think. What about laying them all side by side in a Yakima ski/snowboard rack? They would still be outdoors, but would be locked, sort of, and wouldn't tangle.

Re: Fishing pole transport and storage?

Lots of options out there. I had my basket/bumper/hitch/rod carrier custom made in Orange County
by American Overland Expedition. http://www.americanoverlandexpedition.com/
All I know is that this method works for me. Here is the proof

Re: Fishing pole transport and storage?

I have an interior rack that I mounted to the ceiling but now it is moved to the wall and still works well.

I usually have 10 + rods with me so I still use the benches but I have a different system worked out now to prevent the mess in the photo below. If you look closely you can see the rods in the rack attached to the ceiling.

Fishing pole transport and storage?

86Scotty, I was just going to post up that idea to use ski racks, I've been trying to come up with a solution to carry my rods up to Alaska. I may just store them in the back or in the trailer, might get a bit dirty mounted up outside, exposed.
A friend has a tube holder for his fly rids, not sure what brand, but those systems look nice...but a little spendy

I just screwed some cheap rod holders into the ceiling. Just like these Berkley Twist and Lock Horizontal Fishing Rod Holder / Rack-Stores 4 Rods Put one on each side. I can run 8 single piece 8ft rods in there.

Have held up surprisingly well. Has not been a problem for my passengers, but they are all under 7 so maybe a little height challenged. I've had other people back there and they didn't seem to mind. There is room to add a third row in the middle if it was a problem for passengers.

I have a high top with shelves on both sides and a trim piece of wood so things don't slide and fall from the front and back storage areas. I put some pipe insulation foam on one side over the trim pieces and use a small bungie and eye hook screws. I can store five 9-11' fly rods there with no issues.

Fishing pole transport and storage?

Check out my friends rod holder. Easy to swap from garage to van or to another vehicle with interchangeable plates.
