if day/night shade is a tight squeeze ..

I needed quick and cheap, so I got a 22" W day/night shade replacement ...

United Shade Suede / Buff 22" X 30" Day / Night Shade #TP5107H22030 | eBay

... EVEN THO my 60-door window frame is pretty much exactly 22" wide. Fingers crossed it won't be an awkward fit. But if it is, might I try to file some off the metal edge of the rails?

In general, would a few metal files, including fast/coarse, come in handy for other things? Deburring sharp edges? Or am I just trying to dream up a reason to get a set?

Here is a good link to tool kits if you haven't seen it yet:

I carry a Dremel tool for cutting stuff like padlocks Kind of handy for other things too. I try to keep tools to a minimum though. It's easy to go overboard and I don't plan to leave out of the country. When I look under the hood and see I can't get to much without having to disassemble crap, it's time to pull out the Sat-phone and wallet

Probably not what you were thinking, but files that take up very little space are the PDF type. I've tried to add all the repair manuals to anything on board to my PC in the van. Probably should list all my tools, and where they're at.
