Insulating my SMB windows

Is this a DIY, or had I better purchase? I'll need all windows; as well as the plastic ones on the penthouse...and can they be stored flat on the penthouse bed when lowered? Thanks for your insight.

I cut reflectix to fit inside the window openings and had them edge bound. This stuff works really well in the hot summer sun to keep inside temps in check.
I made pieces for all the lower windows and just made 3 pieces for the poptop windows, depending on where the sun is and how you’re parked, 1 for either the front or back window and 2 that will fit in either side windows. I have the CCV top and place them in between the layers, for the Sportsmobile’s top, you could sew some Velcro tabs to hold it up.

Your decision might depend on if you are trying to keep heat in (cold weather) or heat out (hot weather).

I’ve got friction fit reflectix panels as well. They are great for keeping heat out and ok for keeping it in. I’ve used spray adhesive on one side and backed them with a fabric to give the inside a better look when installed. This looks much better but inhibits the ability to reflect heat back at us. . These lay flat no problem and don’t take up much space. Good luck.

I use a wiggys.com product which is semi-DIY. You can buy and cut/hem to size…stores very well and flat or you can roll and store
They are for cold or warm…they are an insulator
