Interior Fans?

I have been trying out different movable fans inside the van to get air in specific areas.

Tried a few 110 volt fans that work great but draw to much. Tried a few 12 volt fans and the current tester is Caframo Kona from West Marine. Low draw and decent airflow. Not as good as a small 110 Vornado but decent.

Any 12 volt brands or models you have had good luck with? Need good airflow, low amp draw and prefer some type of clip to move around easily.

Re: Interior Fans?

Endless breeze is something I won't leave home without. 3 settings and 3 amps on max plus it puts out some air.

Bought one of these at a truck stop:

Works well and is quiet enough to use at night.

Re: Interior Fans?

We always bring this with us.

We dont use it in the van very often as we have a Fantastic (for a few more days at least) roof vent but we do use it outside with the battery pack or with a long 12 volt power cord. It is nice under an awning or in a tent as well as it. Has a magnetic base and a base plate to put on the opposite side of the tent to hold the fan to the fabric. The power pack thing is kind of cool we use rechargeable batteries in it. Its a bit confusing at first but the know it a temperature adjustment and it turns the fan on and off as the temp changes.

Re: Interior Fans?

After an exhaustive testing of fans (a few pictured below, could not get the rest in the photo) I have decided on my old school 120 Volt clip Vornado fan. Small, quiet, moves a lot of air for the size and only draws an amp or so more than the 12 volt fans.

Others are going back today....

Re: Interior Fans?

Vornado makes a 12V fan?
