Herb, Gooseberry is correct in this recommendation , we have used these mats with great success for several years , if
you go to their web site you should be able to access their military division for larger heavier duty mat's . Two of my nephews fly choppers for forest fires and frequently employ these mat's for their LZ's .

They had the orange ones in 8x8 for about $45 at Amazon shipped.

I figure I can use the orange so the black drones can find me if I get lost....

Now I'm on a search for some lighter weight white or light colored shade cloth.

REI now carries the 8x8. We're quite happy with it and will order a 5x5 soon for the doorway. The 8x8 lives further away from the SMB.

Just had a 10' x 10' sand mat delivered today. Got it on sale for $51 from Camping World. Blue on one side, and some hideous lime green on the other.
