New smaller, lighter awning choice

Looks like the Yakima Slim Shady is now being sold online. about 10 pounds lighter than any of the other small awnings I was looking for. Probably identical to the ARB and Smittybilt stuff as far as design.

Gonna keep this on my Subaru for the most part and use it on the van for driver side shade at music festivals.

Have you only seen it in that one size? 6.5x6.5' is pretty tiny for a van. It will cover your side door but not much else. for about the same money you can get the longer CVT. I've had several and the CVT was the best quality although they're all pretty much identical until you look closely. I would expect a Yakima product to be made well as well. The Smittybilt I bought (for the low price and black cover) is absolute crap compared to the CVT. This looks like a good option if you only want a small awning.

I'd be using this as an auxiliary awning. I'm going to try the foxwing out. Waiting on the new top so I can get it installed.
