Replacing air lines portable tank

Ok guys, first of all thanks to all for the info. I am slowly getting my SMB back to its former glory. My air lines are toast, rotten and need to be replaced. My EB50 has air hose outlets next to the front and rear bumper mounted winches. Do I replace with clamp on fittings myself? Do I pull them out and send them somewhere? Anyone tackled this before? I have a single stage frame mounted ARB pump and frame mounted tank.

Thanks

Mike

Well...it looks like one fitting has already been replaced with a brass barbed fitting and a hose clamp.

The easy DIY way would be to buy some air hose (or perhaps buy a 25' or 50' air hose and chop it up), some barb x male NPT brass fittings (available lots of places, McMaster, local hardware, limited selection at Lowes/Home Depot) and some hose clamps and go at it. For a fancier DIY install you could buy Otiker clamps and pliers instead of hose clamps.

....or take off the hoses you have and find a hose shop, they can make up replacements.....it appears that all of the fittings are pipe thread (NPT)

I went with push on fittings from Viair via Amazon. Very easy to work with.

Forgot about those.....

McMaster sells SMC push-to-connect fittings, as well as zillions of other places......as well as tubing.

Super easy....

I’m going with 2 banana based on the mess, not the plumbing. When you fool with stuff like this under a dirty van you get rained on with crumbs and completely coated in soot. No big deal though, wear long sleeves, gloves and safety glasses. The actual plumbing is the fun part.
