Side dent protectors

Has anyone found a stick -on side bash protector for the Ford's? If so is it a Ford product, where is the best place for mounting and how does one keep it parallel and straight when installing.

Like 3-M deflector film? Or are you thinking of a crash bar.

Side dent protectors

I guess the term is side molding. It is available I guess in rolls, then it seems a trick to install parallel with the van. It is to protect the van sides from the airhead drivers who let their doors fall open when parked beside you. I have yet to see it installed on a Ford, so not sure if is a factory suppied item or just after market.
When you start looking, almost all cars have them nowdays, and are painted to match the body color.

Rubber dent protection... like this but rubber:

My wife's Jeep's molding got beat to heck. For my Jeep I've found that side rock rails work well to ease my mind, and the van like wise has side steps that would need to be cleared (height) to get a ding.

I'm not sure what the proper term is.
