Just picked up a Delorme InReach satellite communicator for 30% off at the Sports Chalet going out of business sale in Huntington Beach.
I have been meaning to pick up a SPOT type emergency beacon but wanted the ability to send and receive text messages the Delorme offers.
They still had a couple in the display case but they're going to go fast. If anyone has been thinking of getting one it's a $90 savings over anything I saw online.
Great deal. Unfortunately they are a long way from where I live. Got an REI spring sale catalog yesterday that has both InReach products listed at 25% off so will be going that route. Sale starts 5/20.
