Tell me why the Cobb is not best?

Really thought the size was great, unique style, etc....

For me the form factor of the Cobb is not right; we would have a harder time storing and carrying something with those dimensions. It also does not look like it would work well with an open fire, or a dutch oven, or multiple cooking containers....

Just tried out our new Cobb on two different trips. First time forgot the charcoal so tried using wood coals. Seemed to cook very slowly that try. Was not happy with results. Last night tried it again with mesquite charcoal. Again, it really didn't get hot enough for classic barbecuing. I'm sure I could make it work for me but it is a bit bulky and my romance with charcoal is over. I plan to revert to my clunky little propane weber. It folds up quite small and stuffed in a paper bag the nasties will stay where they belong.

Look at http://www.sotooutdoors.com for the table top duel grill it is by far the best tool for camping I have found. Both a BBQ grill and fire pan the size of a dutch oven.

Glad someone scored a good deal off this. I thought about it, but I need to reduce the number of cooking appliances I have, not add one to my collection. Seemed like a good price on the grill, and maybe even better on the accessories.

I've been using a notebook grill like this for 3 or 4 years. It's cheap, folds to about and inch thick, and stores easily. I've even built small campfires in it.
