Got to agree with BW. These cans are made to miltary specs, and the size is just right for me. I do have 2 of the 20L containers which is basically the same size as a fuel can but those are a bit hard to handle and on short trips I really don't need 5 gal of drinking water. BTW this place also has the larger 20L cans. Herb made a post about the same containers not too long back. Not sure about how the prices stack up.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

I had posted these cans on here about a year ago. I bought them originally because they were the only heavy duty water jug that I found that would fit under the bed of our RB50. They slide right in with about an inch on top to spare. Expensive, yes. I first went the route of the inexpensive Colemans and after mopping up the water the third time I got these. oclv

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

Has anybody had problems with this company receiving items ordered? I have yet to hear from them and have not received my order. Now they do not answer their phone with a live person, only a message

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

Ira Green bought out Brigade Quartermasters back in January. From talking with their customer service rep, it's been a painful merger.

Took me a while (4-6 weeks?) to get my black Scepter 5 gallon water jug, but I did get it. Their communication during this time was non-existant unless I initiated the call.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

Thanks Herb... as long as they didn't feed me a line of bull. They told me of the merger and said they were having problems with scepter but expected a delivery a week or so ago. Got a little concerned as my E-Mail will not go through. I'll try an early morning call to the order # rather than customer service.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

Just got my 2.5 Scepter water cans from Brigade quartermaster. After calling about what was taking longer than what they had told me, the mistake was found and they shipped immediately. To get to customer service I had to leave a message and they promptly called back the next day. I’m very happy with the service and their prices.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

Just received my two. I had to follow up on the order...

One fits right in my baja box tray and the other does not! Just a tad big....
