Water Can 2.5 gal

Just ordered 2 of these from brigade quartermaster:

2.5 gallon Stackable Water cans

SCEPTER GI RUNT™ MWC 2.5 GALLON / 10 LITER WATER CAN
The 2.5 gallon Runt is half the size of the 5 gallon standard canister, which makes it lighter for greater portability. This military specification high impact plastic can will keep vital water supplies fresh and potable. Excellent for home, camp, cabin and preparedness survival storage. Srew top closure with a wide mouth for fast water point filling. Pouring is done through a small capped opening with a venting cap for easy pouring. These store compactly and stack on top of each. Each has a uniform, single handle that, in the dark, prevents mistaking them for fuel canisters.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

BW, somebody posted about those sometime back... I just have never got around to ordering them. Seemed like they were a little pricy but I feel they are the perfect size. I plan to re-design my rear box to hold them on top.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

I just ordered 4 cans. Unfortunately they had some problems with Scepter and will hopefully receive them (from Scepter) by the end of the week. They were out of both colors.

BW...thanks for the reminder to get these ordered.

Re: Water Can 2.5 gal

Out of curiosity, what advantage is there to these cans over the blue 5-gallon Coleman jugs?

Sheesh
They LOOK way cooler!

and
they are pretty stout
they stack
they have a large fill hole
small pour spout
built in vent
fit real well in a couple of my aluminess products
and they weigh less to tote around

but most important they look so Macho!
