Weight Difference for Aluminess Bumpers

I finally got my Aluminess system installed. I was curious about the weight difference and somewhat concerned it would add significant weight.

The "system" consists of:

Front bumper with brush guards, 12,000# winch (synthetic cable) and Hella foglights.
Rear bumper with Deluxe box and tire carrier. I don't have a spare on the carrier, yet. That will happen when I get new rims & tires during the 4WD conversion at Timberline Vans later this spring.

Before the bumper switch, I weighed the van with a full tank of gas and the exact same contents.

(I couldn't figure out how to format a table on here or even copy/paste, so I took a picture)

I was surprised and relieved by the difference, essentially zero.

I'll post pictures tomorrow.

What vehicle are you driving? I was surprised that the rear Aluminess configuration only added 60# (bumper, box and tire swing). I’m having an Aluminess front bumper (with brush guards) installed along with some suspension work performed at Agile Off-road in May (Yes, they were booked up that far ahead when I scheduled in February). I will repeat the CAT weight after and compare with yours. I suspect that my front end will pick up a few pounds as our rig is a 2019 Transit 350. The stock front bumper is essentially molded plastic.

1998 Ford E250 E50 with the 5.4L. The rear was 100LBS heavier, but that also took 40LBS off the front (as my statics prof always said, "Every couple has its moment and don't push on a rope.").

I was really concerned about the front end picking up weight as I also installed a 12,000LBS Warn winch. I'll be interested in seeing your CAT weights.

I'm having Timberline Vans do a lift and 4x4 conversion. I'm scheduled to take it in mid-May and I scheduled it before Christmas. Everyone is backed up.
