Yakima Hi Lift
I want to thank Blackeye for the great idea of using the Yakima Hi lift mount on the Aluminess Front Bumper . I just finished mounting my 60"
High Lift Extreme Jack as Blackeye had posted and it really is a great solution for the transporting of this piece of equipment . I had previously carried inside of our EB-50 inside of a JackGuard Blow Molded case in the rear compartment and am very pleased with the
additional space provided by moving to the bumper . Thank you again Blackeye .

Greg,
You have probably already searched and found my post on the Hi-Lift / YAKIMA mount. Here is the link in case you or others need it:
http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/viewto ... highlight=
We have added a neoprene / velcro wrap to the operating end of the Hi-Lift to protect the moving parts from mud, debris and accelerated deterioration. I used an old Simms gravel guard. Greggde will understand.
The mount has worked really well.

I love that mount but where do you install the front plate? It's a ticket here in California.
Dave.

Where do you mount the front plate now if you have a winch? My front plate is in the winch fairlead slot.

Yakima Hi lift
Blackeye ,
Yet another stellar idea and I just happen to have a number of Gravel
Guards of various makes just begging to be used . I have up till this evening thoroughly saturated the working mechanism in Boeshield T9
I will start sorting through my guards very shortly , Thank you Blackeye again .
