Can someone please cite me to one or more previous posts that tell how to do effective searches. I just can't see to get the hang of it. I'm usually pretty good at this stuff in other venues, even professional technical ones; but I can't figure out the Boolian-or-whatever that works for this forum. Thanks.
If that doesn't help, the best feature IMO about the Search feature on this forum, is that you can continue searching the results of your first Search. In other words, it's not a one-and-done search feature like most forums. Use one key word discriminator, then use a second key word and so on.

The search function is kind of messed up in this system.
If you give it a string of terms, say T1, T2, T3 (e.g. Ford E350 Transmission) it will search for all posts containing T1 plus all posts containing T2 plus all posts containing T3.
You are telling it to search for T1 OR T2 OR T3.
What one generally wants is to find posts with T1 AND T2 AND T3.
You have to do what Herb said - search for T1. Then search the results for T2, then those results for T3.
^^^ you need at least one more, or one less picture in your gallery jage.
ot i know, but your gallery count reminded me of this pic someone locally took recently...check out the plates (kinda blurry, but it reads 666 PMS). worst combination of things evar. never piss that driver off, lol.
