Constantly getting logged out!

Seriously guys, this is getting old! I'm logged in, I type up a nice reply and boom.
I'm logged out the post is gone and I'm frustrated. How about once I login I stay logged in until I logout? Please.

If your "Keep me logged in" box is checked when you log in, it's likely a browser issue and not a forum issue.

Have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same results?

I had worse results with Firefox. It's one of the reasons I use Safari. The "Remember Me" box is checked. Cookies and Cache are allowed in Preferences. What other settings do I need to check. If I'm logged in and able to type, what logs me out when I hit post?

Strange. On Safari now with no issues. Wonder if there is some cookie setting excepted for this site for some reason.

Maybe not related, but do you have JavaScript enabled under Safari advanced settings?

Does this happen on other sites?

Also, I'm pretty sure you can't be using any type of "Private Browsing" mode.

Gahamby, you are not alone when it comes to typing up longer posts to discover you’ve been logged out and your post was lost. I also use Safari and have had the same issues ever since joining the forum. My work around is to copy my post before hitting the submit button. That way I can just log back in and paste my previous post in the box. Not ideal, but saves a few curse words...
