Forum Chat?

Any interest in a forum based chat program (as if you don't spend enough time already...)?

While I'm sure some will find it useful, not for me. I find the current format nearly ideal. I can check in as often as I like, can take all the time I want to research replies.

It would be like Messenger or AIM except you could get on with which ever forum members and type real time to one another. The conversations would not be persistent, meaning whatever you converse about would only be available to those in the "chat room" at that time.

Don't know precisely what it would look like but here is a basic example:

Facebook has a real simple IM that can be useful.

That would be a great addition.....you can IM your friends and ignore your Foes!!!
