Me too. It just seems hardly anybody posts them much these days (I'm still working on one from last year!). I don't expect members to post their hidden locations but just a general idea of where ya went and what you did is always fun to read about. Its the one thing the Expo has that I enjoy. Most of the threads I'm drawn to are those located in the states, probably cause I might be able to explore those areas, but seeing things outside the US is interesting as well.

Sure, but change is constant...

There's a reason I'm active here and not there.

My only overlap with SMB is that they used to do a lot of e-series 4wd campers. My van really has not a single SMB thing about it, so I'm thankful to have been welcome here.

Though, I may now also share other demographics with SMB owners. And honestly, if I had to replace my van tomorrow, I'd very seriously consider just throwing money at the problem, and SMB (west) would high on the list.

That's funny Dave. I really love a good TR too. I love traveling, then sharing about what I find out there to like minded folks, but I never seem to read TR's much over at Expo. I do when someone links one, and I know there are a million there, but for some reason I'll always jump all over one here first. I guess it's just habit.

I do miss the feeling of the old forum, especially the hometown feel that the old owner maintained. He participated, and was an actual SMB owner... But I must say I do like the new forum layout, and am pleased that new members are still joining. If it weren't for the home brew section it is likely I wouldn't be around here. Even though I built my own, I still feel welcome, and inspired by those that have built and continued to build their own rig. I think it is a lifestyle thing that most attracts me to campervanning, and that spirit is also what attracts me to this site.
