I am rather annoyed at the site. I was composing a fairly long post about an installation I did on my van and while doing so the site automatically logged me out so that when I went to preview my post I lost all my work. I find this very annoying. It appears that it logs one out after no more than about 10 minutes. This is very annoying. It seems to think that composing a post does not constitute activity.

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I was involuntarily logged out of this site. You may be having browser issues, rather than forum issues.

Sorry about that happening. I have "lost" posts after doing a lot of work, but not by involuntary logout. I too save the text on long posts to prevent unintentional loss.
As I have never been involuntarily logged out, makes me wonder about a setting.

If you are conducting either a 'Quick Reply' or a 'Quote', click on the yellow Photo icon just above where you are typing (looks like a photo with mountains and sun)... you'll have a small window pop-up where you'd paste the picture URL
