What's your issue Bill? The EULA has been there all along, and everyone is supposed to read it, and by participating here, has given their tacit approval of the EULA.
Just because you don't find something offensive, doesn't mean other people do find something offensive. Personally, I stopped participating in the Yahoo SMB group, because the admin there thought that my bringing up an issue of access to public lands was a political issue. I didn't agree with that point of view, but they "owned" that group, and were free to set the rules.
FYI, the EULA here was never a dictatorial edict, it was a collaboration between all the Admins.
