Sportsmobile Registry - new feature

You can now load information and images about your SMB into the Sportsmobile registry Showcase. You can find the links to do this from the drop down menu above or by clicking on the tab at the top of the page.


Once the system starts to fill up we will start building some other interfaces allowing for new ways to show SMBs alongside discussions from the same years and for sale listings.

When a new listing is added a post will also be made (automatically) in the new Showcase forum with a link to the garage and room for some comments.

This is going to be a cool feature once it's populated. You can see an example of the same system over on Defender Source:

We'll then use these to showcase the vans on the right hand column. This will give everyone some exposure on the site like the old rotating photos in the header. Let's see who will be the first to set up their SMB Registry entry.

Dave posted a great example of how this feature works. It will be great to see SMB owners get these setup. It might take a year or two but it will be a terrific resource to the community.

mods, can there possibly be an option in these garages to link to build threads whether on this forum or not?

that said, id like to see some of the members other rides too. you know, the non van vehicles, lol. peoples daily drivers, racecars, other campers, etc...

ive seen some pretty cool cars listed in peoples signatures that id love to see and hear more info on but didnt want to inquire as to not derail the original thread topic.

Members are welcome to post other non-SMBs in the system if they wish.

As for links to other threads, I think you can put those in the fields where they make sense.

Is there a way to make the registry compatible with the mobile version of the site and/or tapatalk? Currently, neither of them really show the pictures or descriptions or anything...

Not currently and it's likely that tapatalk may never support this feature. I'm hopeful that the mobile version of the site may in a future release. Unfortunately both are designed to be lean and custom designed features aren't supported.
