Terrible spam screen takeovers on mobile

Can we get rid of them? I literally have to close browser and reopen to go back to the forum. Which leads me to go back to the forum less often.

Agreed. I have been getting Amazon Spam pop ups when loading the forum on my Iphone. I have to close down the Safari browser and all open browser windows. It is not consistent, sometimes it is really bad, then I can go days without it happening.

The other rather annoying occurrence is the Spam Calls I receive after sending a PM that contains my phone number. Must be some sniffers monitoring the site.

It's Annoying!!!! About 2 months ago I had the same issue pop up several times (actually the exact same page you pictured on the first post), but have found that when this stuff shows up, its normally because I've accessed the forum without actually "logging in". Once I log in, it all goes away. Havent had the issue since.

I got the Amazon pop up yesterday. Never had that from any other website.

If it becomes a regular occurance, I'll probanly delete my account. That kind of advertising is completely inexcusable.

The Amazon pop up is not Amazon advertising, imho. It is a Spam, phising site. I have won so many things on that pop up, frankly, I am really tired of all this "winning"....

Same here. Pretty annoying when you’ve searched for a while to find something and then have to close the window.

Noooooo, can't start to lose some of you guys who are "the great ones" and who keep this forum what it is!

There ARE some easy solutions to this......

In the interest of being sensitive to the ad-supported nature of this forum and its owners, I'm not gonna say TOO much here, but.....

.....Depending on what browser (and operating system) you're using, there are some rock-solid / 100% effective ad (and pop-up) blocker add-ons you can use that ABSOLUTELY WORK to make spending time on this Forum a complete pleasure.

PM me if ya want some tips on what I've found to work great (for home PC use and mobile both.)

Can you tell me what device and browser you are using? I think you've clicked on some unwanted adware and it's following you around. It likely that deleting cookies and doing a restart would fix this.
