Yes i am a little biased.....

However

what happend with the vendor poll?

has anyone looked at The Samba and the way it is laid out?

I for one would love to see threads in a seperat area that:

Offered services, mechanical, electrical, upgrades, etc

Feedback from Members as to quality pricing and such of the above

Vendor specials
for example Aluminess, Pia, Truckfridge, blue sky, kyocera

the vendor area would be seperate
vendors pay to list
Members provide feedback for free

I dont know about you folks but i dont have the time, experiance or tools
to do alot of the things needed to Dial In my rig

It was fun building my past two rigs, a Westy and my Wilson
Now, i want to use it and to find a part or solution it would be nice
to have some of it here, instead of spending hours on the net....

Pretty handy to have a list here

Example:
I have a trailer/rv supply place around the corner from me
I spent 4 hours trying to fix a plumbing problem
I called them 30 min before closing, they said come on down
Had it fixed in a jiffy, right tool, right job, right experiance

but want a homebrew or upgrade a dog (like i did)
where to you go to get the work done??

we have repeated posts by guys that are looking for a used rig
If he scours CL, here, ebay, auto trader, RVT etc, he might find one
Ya cant tell me that there are other car lots/rv dealers with ONE smb out there
Maybe if they could post here........

not trying to change the world
just looking at the work done on TheSamba which aint a bad track record
also TONS of stuff applicable to SMBers
