Wiki Login Problems
[note: split from another topic since this added no value and turned into a Wiki discussion...]

Well, except for me, who can't log in to the Wiki...

I'll make you "Tina" and then you can log in.

Re: Changes in Ford vans
Herb and Jage,
I thought I was the only one that couldn't log in to Wiki and was told my login name wasn't valid.
Must be the underscores between parts of the name?
I see Herb changed his logon name. Somehow, Ford6LE350 just doesn't work for me.

Re: Wiki Login Problems
Yes, it has been determined with the help of Tina there that the underscore is causing the problem.
Back before the Wiki anything was allowed in your username... and I appreciate that no one took advantage of that to make any gawd awful ASCII art... but I digress.
The Wiki came along and won't allow any special characters, so to keep you guys and gals on a single login system, special characters where no longer allowed in the usernames. The few of you who still have underscores were grandfathered in and will not be able to log in to the Wiki with your current username.
For a limited time you can trade your old username with _s in for a brand new username, which will work for the Wiki. Just PM me with the new username you would like.
You can also forgo editing of the Wiki... since many of you already do... *cough* *cough*, ahem.
Lastly, there is an additional solution if you really want to contribute to the Wiki but can't bear to give up your username. PM me for details.
