Spurious, with your talent, you can knock that dent out and not need paint.

Re: 2000 4x4 Ford Van Build

I am so sorry to see that. I have admired your work and was looking forward to seeing what you did with the blue van.

Reckless drivers - young or old - what can you say?

Best of luck with the insurance people.

Re: 2000 4x4 Ford Van Build

J,

Sorry to hear about the van, but I'm glad your ok, really that's all that matters in the long run, but I know what a bummer it is! Also what a pain it is to have to deal with the insurance companies, we had a gravel train spray rocks (large) rocks all over the hwy and damage a few things on our's as well, they have been a total pain to deal with, good luck !!!

I hope you and yours have a safe(r) & enjoyable Holidays Season!!!

Also, If you wouldn't mind, please give me a heads up when I might be able to grab those last few things from ya, I would be extremely grateful!!

Happy Holidays

Not cool. Especially on a brand new paint job! But like you said, at least you didn't wind up on your lid.

Buff it out!

Good thing nobody was hurt. Can you imagine yourself in a Smart car getting broadsided by a Dodge Ram truck?

Re: 2000 4x4 Ford Van Build

Well after camping all summer I have decided to go with a new bubble top. I have to say after using both pop tops and now a fixed top , the fixed top is my preference.

Yes, very very nice indeed.

I don't mean to step out of line, but I call first dibs if you ever decide this van is for sale.

Re: 2000 4x4 Ford Van Build

The new top looks great. Just starting my build and had a fixed top on my old van, it was convenient for everything but drive thrus. Can you tell me where you got the top and for how much? Do you have pics of the process? I looked through some of your gallery from last winter and I must say that you set the bar very high for design and workmanship. I tend to get in a hurry sometimes and really appreciate fine work to keep me focused on the end result.
Thank you
Brian
