Thanks!

I chose the Scheel-Mann seats because of the adjustability of the support. You can fully tune in the seat to your body type. I intend to put some very long days in these seats and did not want to be worn out at the end of the day due to being uncomfortable.

Here is a good review of these seats for your reading pleasure...

Love the way those seats make the van look like a million bucks but even better is how comfy they are. Congratulations on a solid choice! Just consider it an investment into your spine health ha ha.

Plus if/when the van is sold it'll be an upward bargaining chip OR they can be removed and used in another vehicle.

Great looking seats!

And I made a little more progress today. My floor is in!

Layer one, Stinger Roadkill sound deadening

Layer two, Bedrug for a little insulation and rattle stop

Layer three, 3/4" Light ply subfloor that is glued, screwed, and biscuited together to make it all one piece. The floor is not screwed into the van, it is floating at this point. The cabinets and such will be bolted down through all layers.

Layer four, Marine flooring

I see your flooring will cover a portion of the side step well---I do something similar myself. For my next build in progress I'm considering leaving a small space, no more than 12" wide towards the rear. I don't step in or out of my rear area too often but that might prove somewhat helpful as a secondary step, just above my fabricated running boards and slightly below the actual floor level.

Nice looking floor covering BTW!

Great job, I like the look of that vinyl. How did you get such clean edges? It wraps around the plywood that easily?
