2001 E350 rear AC line Size

Hey all,

I am was tasked with helping with a friends conversion.

I misplaced one of the "Springlock retainers" the clips that go over the spring lock to prevent them from coming apart.

The lines I am referencing are the lines that plug into the rear unit before popping up through the floor.

Looking for the larger lines clip. If anyone knows what size the larger size line is would be helpful.

as would a part number or the true tech term for more research. I was going to run by the dealer but they dont have any in stock.

Thank y'all

That may be hard to find. I'm kind of surprised if it's not a discontinued part. I'd get on Car-part.com and see if you can find any intact vans near you in yards.

You're looking for the A/C line retainers right? There have been a couple different styles I've seen. The larger lines are the low pressure side if that helps. If you're near a Pick-n-Pull, there are probably dozens of them...

I'm not sure either of these are the right size but they come up in a search for "E350 A/C line retainer clip"

The clips aren't typically lost or replaced so its unlikely a dealer will have them in stock. Go to the dealer with the VIN, ask for an image of the A/C lines you're working with and show them what you need.

That'd be my advice but I tend to buy as much OEM stuff as I can.

Are you looking for the plastic retainers that keep the joint together or the actual spring assy inside the connector?
