That is some seriously professional looking work, Skinny. I love the bed over the custom wheelwell cabs, which is more or less how I've been planning to do mine.

Many thanks for such a great build thread. Lots of inspiration here.

Cheers,

Thanks Dia. But, you can't have my van. I'll build one for you next October when I get back from Alaska though.

Sure like that color...it'll be a battle between Mrs. Land Shark and myself over Pueblo Gold (my fav) or Ingot Silver (her's)
Give me about another week. I should have the roof rack and awning on and enough other stuff buttoned up so I can back it out of the shop and get a picture of the whole van.

Here ya go lndshark. sorry I didn't get the roof rack on yet. I just took her out to give her a bath and fill up the diesel tank.
Mostly just buttoned up a few loose ends today and started to build the trim panels for the wall/ceiling transition and worked on window trim. Should finish all that tomorrow.

Thanks for the pics, Skinny. It looks great! Still my favorite color.

Sure has come a long way from that initial posting of the van parked at Quigley's lot!

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I was able to wrangle up some help from the coffee shop this morning and I got the rack installed.

A little sheet metal work before I wrap the window jambs.

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I got most of the trim panels installed at the top of the walls.

I just glued up the last one so I can install it in the morning.

Coffee, anyone? Took a little break to try out the inverter.

Trimmed out the back. Not real happy with it but there is a lot going on in that corner. Wasn't quite sure how else to do it.

What an amazing, high-quality build! I've been watching the posts, and am simply amazed at how you did it in such a short amount of time.

Years from now, and if/when you ever sell it, "high resale value" would be an understatement!

I'm jealous.

Thanks, photographix. I've really enjoyed doing this. I may have to sell it and build another one.
