Re: 2013 E350 New Build

Thanks guys. It's another tense day drilling more holes in the side of the van. Fuel fill, shore power, 12 volt sockets, and exterior lights.

Installed the fuel filler for my auxiliary diesel tank.

Shore power plug.

Porch light on passenger side. I'm going to put another one on the drivers side.

I decided on the 285's. Ordered 5 Toyo A/T II's today.

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

More FatMat and some insulation. It doesn't seem like I got much done today.
I have about 30 sq' of FatMat left. Any suggestions on where to use it? Should I continue on the floor or put it on the walls?

I have a roll of this radiant barrier I'm going to use in a few spots for insulation. Does the foil side go to the outside or inside?

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I'd use the FatMat on any remaining sheet metal wall---keep in mind for sound attenuation you can cover only 35% of a surface and still be effective.

Radiant barrier should have the foil side against the outer sheet metal---I use a 3M #08088. Avoid a similar adhesive 3M makes #08090 since its not as easy to work with as the #08088.

This is coming along nicely Skinny----I think you're making amazing progress truth be told.
