Sprinter seats were a great idea, btw. Super comfortable. Makes the stock seats feel like sitting on a park bench

Sweet, I was wondering. Thanks for the update. Did you have to pay the $195 shipping they quote in the link you posted?

Also, how hard were they to adapt to our vans?

Yes. Expensive to ship. After yesterday's 16 hour drive, I think they're worth every penny. The wife didn't complain at all either (about the seat).

I Made two adapter plates for each seat with 4 holes in each; 2 to bolt it to the stock basses, 2 to bolt the seat tracks to. Had to trim the stock bases a little bit to clear where the front seat track bolts come through. Pretty straightforward. Also Had to trim some tabs on the seat by the seat belt mount, but the ford seat belt receivers otherwise bolted on.

the van developed a fuel leak...so I went to the local auto parts store to get a new water separator/drain valve. The van wound not start when i went to leave the store. Starter spun; the bendix wasn't engaging. Pretty much the best place for this to happen though. So I marched back in the store and bought a starter and changed the starter in the parking lot.

Then yesterday I tackled changing the valve. That's a pain in the ass! Ended up pulling the turbo and the intake Y to reach the valve. It took all of the 3 hours I excepted it to. But no more fuel leak!

Pardon the messy floors, the van just took a 2,500 mile trip with 3 dogs and 7 people.

Here is the rear plate:

Front plate:

Left side cut on stock riser

Cut on riser, right side, and for seat belt receiver
