Got the frx fuel mod installed, and the billet intake manifolds to convert to the late '99+ style intake and y pipe to fit the truck turbo that I am installing. Didn't like how the van had to downshift a lot climbing hills when my previous diesel trucks often could make boost at lower rpms due to the smaller turbine housing on the truck turbos on a 7.3 and not have to downshift. Also it turns out my is an early 99 model, so it had a smaller compressor housing on it to. The blue one is the new snail.

Also got the water/meth injection nozzle installed in the port the iah normally goes in on a 99.5+ model. It got too dark to get a pic but I managed to get the turbo installed and the bellowed up pipes as well. Tomorrow the 4" exhaust goes on and hopefully the engine cover too...ready to be done wrenching and doing more vannin!

How are you keeping all that power cool? I have a 7.3 and DP tuner with 4” exhaust also. I have a hard time keeping exhaust temps under 1300 going over the pass towing. I’d love an inter cooler some how.
For now water/meth injection. It works pretty well. I used it on my last van too.
I am still planning on adding an a/w ic. I bought one that is too big. Have my eye on another one, may have to do a fuel bowl delete to make a bit more room; I'm still in the planning stages for that mod.
