My mind keeps going back to getting an ambo, and I really like the idea of something like a Foxwing awning, but the ones I've seen aren't really long enough to go from the side entry door to the back corner and round the end of the ambo. If I go the ambo route, I may have to use two independent awnings like you have.

There's a few way to skin the cat but for me this was the easiest way. I looked at the 270 but they seemed pretty bulky although people who have them don't seem to mind.
An electric (or manual crank) side awning would work great as well but they were pricier and didn't look as sturdy.
