I bought a Planar from Russia when I had my Transit. It was fine. I plan to order a Webasto petrol version for my current pick up/pop up topper in the next few months.

Russians know a bit about heat.

i got mine from russia. i think the website was heaters4u. it came very quick to los angeles. less than one week. i chose trackable shipping incase i needed to contact credit card company. the webasto stickers were in cyrillic, but i used the google translate app with my phone camera to confirm it was petrol version (not diesel).

i have had no problems. also ordered the digital control and all the small tubing and registers. it was about 1/3 the price.

I have a 1998 Club Wagon that I've converted into a camper. Being into winter sports, I decided to install a webasto gas heater. Install went great except the fuel line part. I can't figure out the best way to feed fuel to the heater. The instructions say I can tap into the fuel return line but all of the hoses are steel braided with the ford quick disconnects. Is there a way to build a tap into these lines? Or do I need to install another standpipe into the tank. I'd prefer not to drop the tank if I don't have to. Anybody tackle this before?
This is an old thread discussing tapping into the fuel tank for heaters or other accessories.

I searched Rock Auto and they list (for 2000 E-350 XLT V10) both 2 port and 3 port fuel pump assemblies.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...sn=931&jsn=931

It would appear all you have to do is swap out the assembly to add the 3rd port and hook up an external fuel pump.

I'm looking at this to fill a Jerry can fuel to 400cc dual sport motorcycle or a small generator.

The length of the pickup tube is about 1/4 tank but a short piece of hose could probably extend it lower.

This particular assembly seems to include a connector for the 3rd port so I assume the mating connectors would be available for a standard fuel line.

I have cut a hole in the floor of a cargo van and am pretty much committed to doing the same to the Van conversion. On the 2002 E250 cargo van the rubber hose between the pump and the pickup was rotted and fuel just went through a crack in the hose with no pressure to the engine.

Here is a Video I recently found which does a pretty methodical job going through finding, cutting out, and replacing a fuel pump for an Early 2000s Econoline. The attached figure is what he described, but he recommended using a borescope camera to confirm an initial hole is over the pump.

I have cut one out but did not have the patience this guy had.
